In March 1973, the English progressive rock group Yes undertook their first tour of Australia. The concerts were very successful and achieved legendary status amongst Australian fans. Despite touring regularly all over the world, it would be another 30 years before they returned down under.
The 2003 Yes tour was very much a story of how a group of Australian fans found each other, formed YesFANZ, found Yes again, and then enticed them back to Australia along with Roger Dean, the legendary artist responsible for most of their iconic record covers and logos.
Yes in Australia chronicles both of the Yes tours in the context of the times in which they occurred. It includes 32 pages of photos capturing the essence of both tours.
