Editorial

Whatever the type of document, editing brings out the best in it, so that your words accurately convey your message.

Assessment: a brief assessment of the state of your manuscript.
Structural edit: ensures the appropriate structure, content, language, and style are present in your work, including assessing your work's integrity and whether additional material needs to be included, such as illustrations, glossary, index, cross-referencing, or tables.
Copy edit: tidies up discrepancies and looks at grammar, use of language, spelling, punctuation, style, clarity of expression and cross-references within the text.
Proofreading: this is the important final stage in the editing process and entails more than just running your manuscript through a computer spellchecker! It ensures every aspect of the text is in order including spelling, and punctuation and consistency across chapter headings, page numbers, contents listing, and running heads.

 

Design

Good design means producing your work clearly, succinctly and attractively.

 Typesetting & interior page design: designing your book to deliver your message clearly to your readers.
Cover design using images I already own

ISBN and barcode: only required if you wish to sell your book through shops or to libraries
