About Us
Publish-Me! is a division of Longueville Media, an independent publisher and publishing services provider based in Sydney, founded by David Longfield in 2002. Publish-Me! grew out of the increasing demand we had from people wishing to self-publish their writing.
Publish-Me! is a small team with over twenty years working in the publishing industry and have extensive experience in design, editorial services, and sales and marketing: our key contacts, David Longfield and Carol D’Costa understand publishing because of our previous experience in commercial publishing and chose this industry because we love working with authors.
With the ever increasing ease of selling books online, in print or as ebooks, self-publishing is a growing and important area of the publishing world. However, we found it was lacking several important elements that we believe are critical to the success and satisfaction of independent authors. We now pride ourselves on providing these three important elements to all our clients:
- You always have access to one of our team who are dedicated to being available to answer your questions at any time with dedicated personal service.
- Our sales and marketing options for authors makes selling your work a manageable and less daunting task.
- Depending on what you want to achieve with your book, we offer professional editing, design and production, that will help make your book look like any work you see in a bookshop.
As an independent author, we understand that what you really want is a personal guiding hand to help them publish your work, and we pride ourselves on providing this personal service.

Lucie Stevens
After graduating with a BA Communications (Writing and Contemporary Cultures), Lucie began working in internal communications. Her love of books inspired her to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing, leading her into a career in publishing.
As an emerging writer, Lucie understands the challenges of the writing process and can offer you support as your role changes from writer to self-publisher. Lucie coordinates a weekly writing group at the New South Wales Writers’ Centre, has had work performed by the National Youth Theatre Company and in September 2011, was awarded an Australian Society of Authors Mentorship for her young adult novel.
When she isn’t pursuing her writing goals, Lucie helps Sydney’s single women by interviewing men about their social habits and blogging about her findings.
Congratulations are due to Lucie who in the past two months has won two major awards to develop her young adult novel, The Grace Stroke:
- The 2011 Australian Society of Authors Mentorship Program, young adult literature category, where she will work with a mentor of her choice for 30 hours, and
- The NSW Writers’ Centre Varuna Fellowship, which gives her a one-week writing residency in 2012.
